'55 Club'
The Club is aimed at retired people in the village usually over the age of 55. We meet on the last Wednesday of each month at the Blue Cross at where there is usually a speaker. There are various sub groups such as the 'Walking', 'Wine', 'Art', 'Dining' groups.

WOOTTON WOMENS INSTITUTE
The WI meet on the third Wednesday of every month at the Memorial Hall at 7.30pm. Non- Members are always welcome at a cost of £2.50 per evening which includes refreshments.

ACORN QUILTERS AND CRAFT GROUP
We are a group of people who enjoy producing craft objects using a range of skills including sewing, embroidery, pillow lace, card making etc. We meet once a month on the first Tuesday of each month in the Memorial Hall at 8.00pm.

WOOTTON BADMINTON CLUB
Wootton Badminton Club are always keen to welcome new members and if you would like to join us, we play at the Upper School Sports Hall on Thursday nights. Most standards are welcome. The season starts at the end of August. We run a league team with matches being played from October to April. For those only interested in a social game of badminton, the club meets every Thursday from 7.30pm to 10.00pm.

COUNTRY PLAYERS
Country Players is a friendly group and usually rehearse on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Wootton Village Hall and present three or four productions a year. If you would like to come to a rehearsal, play reading or workshop, please contact our Secretary Wendy Field on 401460
Everyone is welcome and if you are already practising a craft, or indeed would like to learn a new craft, please come along. You will be made very welcome
