Hi, my name is Ian Evans and I am now the Neighbourhood Police Officer for Wootton and Stewartby. I have been a Police Officer for over 17 years of which all has been spent policing the Bedford and surrounding areas. I was born in the village of Wootton (many years ago) and also live in the village. I have done many roles within the police but find the community side most challenging and enjoyable. I am working with PCSO Jessica Richards and are both looking forward to working in the area. I wish to thank PC Quinney and PCSO Enright for doing a great job in the area and we will continue that work. All I would ask is if you have a problem or concern please contact me. If I do not know I cannot help. I am willing to give presentations to any group and support community events, so contact me on the below numbers.
Hello, my name is Jessica Richards and I am now the new Police Community Support Officer for Wootton and Stewartby. I've have been working for Bedfordshire Police for almost 2 years and previously covered the Kingsbrook and Cauldwell area. I was the sole PCSO for this very busy area for nearly a year and a half and have gained a huge amount of experience within this time. I am very much looking forward to using this knowledge and working in a rural environment and within Wootton and Stewartby itself. Myself and PC Evans have been working with the Bedford South Safer Neighbourhood Team for nearly two years and are looking forward to working together with the new challenges that lie ahead.
Our forthcoming Village Police Surgeries are at the Baptist Church Hall, Bedford Road on the following dates;
Monday 6th April 2009 – 11.00am– 12.00noon
PC 518 Ian Evans.
